Let's Go Biblical!

Rabbis to US Ambassador: Time to 'Go Biblical' with Arabs

by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) A delegation of the Rabbinical Congress for Peace (RCP) met with U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mr. James Cunningham, today and called for a reassessment of the entire U.S. policy vis-à-vis the Israelis and Palestinians. The rabbis told Ambassador Cunningham that it was time to try the Biblical approach to the dispute over the Land of Israel.

"The past 17 years have proven without a shadow of a doubt that every square inch ceded by Israel to the Palestinians was transformed into a platform of hatred and terrorism," RCP Director Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Lewin told the ambassador. "In other words, the 'land for peace' formula in the Israel-Palestinian context, besides being a formula that goes against the Divine will, is ineffective, obsolete, and an exercise in futility. Most of all it is a dangerous policy that only leads to bloodshed and instability in the region and harms vital American interests in the region as well," Lewin said.

'Land for peace doesn't work'

The delegation was headed by Rabbi Joseph Gerlitzky, Chairman of the RCP, who is also the Rabbi

"It's all a play of words, there is no peace process."

of Central Tel Aviv where the US embassy is located. Rabbi Gerlitzky presented the ambassador with the Halachic (Jewish legal) ruling signed by over 350 prominent rabbis in Israel that it is forbidden to give up even one inch of territory controlled by Israel today because it will bring bloodshed and instability to the region.

"In the name of the overwhelming majority of rabbis in Israel," he said, "we request of you Mr. Ambassador, to convey our Halachic message to President Barack Obama that it is time for a complete reversal and reassessment of U.S. policy in the Middle East. The 'land for peace' policy never worked and harms U.S. interests in the region and the world at large."

It's absolutely true what the rabbis say, but why haven't they demanded the ISRAELI government remember the Law of Moses (Malachi 4:4), as Meir Kahane courageously taught, and GO BIBLICAL with Arabs (and everything else) in the Jewish homeland since the way of the UNJews, the humanist/Hellenist way, clearly hasn't worked and never would?

The Plain Truth about NEW YEAR'S!

How did the celebration of New Year's Eve begin? Why is the beginning of a year placed in the middle of a dead winter? And where did the many customs surrounding it originate?

MOST people carelessly assume that celebrating New Year's Eve is a Christian custom.

But did the practice of "waiting the old year out" really come from the Bible?

Is January 1 the true beginning of a new year? Who has the AUTHORITY to determine when a new year begins?

An Ancient Pagan Custom

New Year's is one of the oldest and most universal of all pagan TRADITIONS! The custom of celebrating it has remained essentially unchanged for 4,000 years!

"There is scarcely a people, ancient or modern, savage or civilized," writes Theodor H. Gaster, in his definitive book "New Year", "which has not observed it ... in one form or another. Yet no other festival has been celebrated on so many different dates or in so many seemingly different ways."

In ancient Babylon, New Year's festivals were closely bound to the pagan feast called "Christmas" today. The little-known connection of New Year's with Christmas is made clear in our free booklet, "The PLAIN TRUTH About CHRISTMAS!" If you haven't read it before, write for it immediately.

When and how did New Year's celebrations originate? Who began the custom?

Notice the proof of history.

"Mesopotamia," writes Earl W. Count, "is the very ancient Mother of Civilization. Christmas began there, OVER FOUR THOUSAND YEARS AGO, as the festival which renewed the world for another year. The 'twelve days' of Christmas; the bright fires and probably the Yule log; the giving of presents; the carnivals with their floats, their merrymakings and clownings, the mummers who sing and play from house to house; the feastings; the church processions with their lights and song -- all these and more began there centuries before Christ was born. And they celebrated THE ARRIVAL OF A NEW YEAR!" ("4000 Years of Christmas", pp. 20-21.)

That is how it began. The celebration of New Year's began in ancient Babylonia in Mesopotamia. It was a pagan custom of ancient sun-worship 2000 years before the birth of Jesus.

The celebration of New Year's is never once commanded in the Bible. Jesus and the apostles never observed it. Moses forbade it!

Don't say "it doesn't matter." It does matter to God whether we adopt the customs of the heathen. Your Bible says, "Learn not the way of the heathen" (Jeremiah 10:2).

American Detained in Jerusalem's Russian Compound

American Detained in Jerusalem's Russian Compound

Nobody arrested me. I was detained when I faithfully reported to the Jerusalem police office at 9 a.m. Monday morning, January 9, 1996 (day before my birthday) the day after The Jerusalem Post published on their front page an article shedding light on what they were doing in the dark.

After my initial interrogation of six and one half hours, the Thursday before, I reported, as demanded, to the Jerusalem police station Friday morning, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and then Monday morning the fellow who had actually been nice to me, he said his name was Moshe, was ordered to serve me a deportation order. He expected me to sign it and, appalled, I purposely dropped the accursed paper from my hands and let it fall to the floor where it belonged! I refused to sign it.

They put me in that dungeon called the Russian Compound, built hundreds of years ago by the Turks, and which has since been toured by Israeli parliament members who say it should be torn down! I was in a cell made for ten and at one time we had twenty one people in it, with mats lying all over the floor and bed bugs crushed on the walls and everyone but me (by the grace of God) had welts on them from their bites!

We had one "bathroom" for all of us in that cell: it was a literal hole in the floor, and the shower pipe (no showerhead) was just over that hole, and a filthy sink, and everyone had to practically beg for toilet paper. I was there for over two weeks before my unjust deportation, after being brought before the Jerusalem magistrate (who refused to release me, being represented by famous Israeli lawyer Naftali Warzberger), and later before Israel's High Court who agreed there was no reason I shouldn't have been set free, that there was no risk of flight, but now they were just going to deport me since my citizenship request was denied.

The Temple Mount Faithful paid for all my legal expenses, recognizing the whole ordeal was politico-religious persecution against all of us, yet the Leftists targeted little ol' me! Why? Because I had written an article published in Jerusalem that highlighted the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under Nazi-Muslim occupation: how the Israeli police enable Muslim discrimination daily against Christians and Jews who are unable to pray or read the Bible, in peace, upon the site of the holy temples.

Is it a crime to have an abiding love for Israel? To believe what's written in the Law and the Prophets concerning the Temple and our responsibility to construct it? To mourn that it hasn't been done yet? As the Jerusalem Talmud states: "every generation in which the Temple has not been built is as if the Temple were destroyed in it...." Isn't Israel's state emblem a gold menorah in between two gold olive branches?

Must I remain in exile, banished from the Land I love, because my hope, prayer, and dream is for Israel to fulfill what that symbol represents: the Temple and Israel's destiny to become a Light to all nations?

Never Forget "Palestinian" Terrorist Take Over of the Church of Nativity!

The PA Takeover of the Church of the Nativity
On April 2, 2002, as Israel implemented its Defensive Shield operation to combat the Palestinian terrorist infrastructure, in Bethlehem "a number of terrorists took over St. Mary's Church grounds and...held the priest and a number of nuns there against their will. The terrorists used the Church as a firing position, from which they shot at IDF soldiers in the area. The soldiers did not return fire toward the church when fired upon [emphasis added]. An IDF force, under the command of the Bethlehem area regional commander, entered the Church grounds today without battle, in coordination with its leaders, and evacuated the priest and nuns."33

That same day, "More than 100 Palestinian gunmen...[including] soldiers and policemen, entered the Church of the Nativity on Tuesday, as Israeli troops swept into Bethlehem in an attempt to quell violence by Palestinian suicide bombers and militias."34 The actual number of terrorists was between 150 and 180, among them prominent members of the Fatah Tanzim. As the New York Times put it, "Palestinian gunmen have frequently used the area around the church as a refuge, with the expectation that Israel would try to avoid fighting near the shrine" [emphasis added].35

And in fact this was the case. The commander of the Israeli forces in the area asserted that the IDF would not break into the church itself and would not harm this site holy to Christianity. Israel also deployed more mature and more reserved reserve-duty soldiers in this sensitive situation that militarily called for more agile, standing-army soldiers.36

On the other hand, the Palestinians did not treat it the same way. Not only did they take their weapons with them into the Church of the Nativity and fire, on occasion, from the church, but also reportedly booby-trapped the entrance to the church.37

On April 7, "one of the few priests evacuated from the church told Israeli television yesterday that gunmen had shot their way in, and that the priests, monks and nuns were essentially hostages....The priest declined to call the clergy 'hostages,' but repeatedly said in fluent English: 'We have absolutely no choice. They have guns, we do not.'"38

Christians clearly saw the takeover as a violation of the sanctity of the church. In an interview with CWNews, Archbishop Jean-Louis Tauran, the Vatican's Undersecretary of State and the top foreign-policy official, asserted that "The Palestinians have entered into bilateral agreements [with the Holy See] in which they undertake to maintain and respect the status quo regarding the Christian holy places and the rights of Christian communities. To explain the gravity of the current situation, let me begin with the fact that the occupation of the holy places by armed men is a violation of a long tradition of law that dates back to the Ottoman era. Never before have they been occupied - for such a lengthy time - by armed men."39 On April 14, he reiterated his position in an interview on Vatican Radio.40

On April 24, the Jerusalem Post reported on the damage that the PA forces were causing:

Three Armenian monks, who had been held hostage by the Palestinian gunmen inside Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, managed to flee the church area via a side gate yesterday morning. They immediately thanked the soldiers for rescuing them.
They told army officers the gunmen had stolen gold and other property, including crucifixes and prayer books, and had caused damage....
One of the monks, Narkiss Korasian, later told reporters: "They stole everything, they opened the doors one by one and stole everything....They stole our prayer books and four crosses...they didn't leave anything. Thank you for your help, we will never forget it."
Israeli officials said the monks said the gunmen had also begun beating and attacking clergymen.41

When the siege finally ended, the PA soldiers left the church in terrible condition:

The Palestinian gunmen holed up in the Church of the Nativity seized church stockpiles of food and "ate like greedy monsters" until the food ran out, while more than 150 civilians went hungry. They also guzzled beer, wine, and Johnnie Walker scotch that they found in priests' quarters, undeterred by the Islamic ban on drinking alcohol. The indulgence lasted for about two weeks into the 39-day siege, when the food and drink ran out, according to an account by four Greek Orthodox priests who were trapped inside for the entire ordeal....
The Orthodox priests and a number of civilians have said the gunmen created a regime of fear.
Even in the Roman Catholic areas of the complex there was evidence of disregard for religious norms. Catholic priests said that some Bibles were torn up for toilet paper, and many valuable sacramental objects were removed. "Palestinians took candelabra, icons and anything that looked like gold," said a Franciscan, the Rev. Nicholas Marquez from Mexico.42

A problem that arose during the siege again shows Christian fear of Muslim domination. Two Palestinian gunmen in the church were killed, and the PA wanted to bury them in the basilica. "With two Muslim bodies inside the Church of the Nativity, Christianity could be facing an absolute disaster in Bethlehem," said Canon Andrew White, the special representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Middle East. "It would be catastrophic if two Muslim martyrs were buried in the church. It could lead to a situation like that in Nazareth," he said.43 Only after intensive mediation efforts were plans to bury the bodies inside abandoned.

Roman Catholic and Protestant Confessions about Sunday

The vast majority of Christian churches today teach the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, as a time for rest and worship. Yet it is generally known and freely admitted that the early Christians observed the seventh day as the Sabbath. How did this change come about?

History reveals that it was decades after the death of the apostles that a politico-religious system repudiated the Sabbath of Scripture and substituted the observance of the first day of the week. The following quotations, all from Roman Catholic sources, freely acknowledge that there is no Biblical authority for the observance of Sunday, that it was the Roman Church that changed the Sabbath to the first day of the week.

In the second portion of this booklet are quotations from Protestants. Undoubtedly all of these noted clergymen, scholars, and writers kept Sunday, but they all frankly admit that there is no Biblical authority for a first-day sabbath.

Roman Catholic Confessions

James Cardinal Gibbons, The Faith of our Fathers, 88th ed., pp. 89.
"But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify."
Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism 3rd ed., p. 174.
"Question:  Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
"Answer:  Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her-she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority."
John Laux, A Course in Religion for Catholic High Schools and Academies (1 936), vol. 1, P. 51.
"Some theologians have held that God likewise directly determined the Sunday as the day of worship in the New Law, that He Himself has explicitly substituted the Sunday for the Sabbath. But this theory is now entirely abandoned. It is now commonly held that God simply gave His Church the power to set aside whatever day or days she would deem suitable as Holy Days. The Church chose Sunday, the first day of the week, and in the course of time added other days as holy days."
Daniel Ferres, ed., Manual of Christian Doctrine (1916), p.67.
"Question: How prove you that the Church hath power to command feasts and holy days?
"Answer. By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which Protestants allow of, and therefore they fondly contradict themselves, by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feasts commanded by the same Church.'
James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore (1877-1921), in a signed letter.
"Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? I answer yes. Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day -Saturday - for Sunday, the first day? I answer yes . Did Christ change the day'? I answer no!
"Faithfully yours, J. Card. Gibbons"
The Catholic Mirror, official publication of James Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893.
"The Catholic Church, . . . by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday."
Catholic Virginian Oct. 3, 1947, p. 9, art. "To Tell You the Truth."
"For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the[Roman Catholic] church outside the Bible."
Peter Geiermann, C.S.S.R., The Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1957), p. 50.
"Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
"Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
"Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
"Answer. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday."
Martin J. Scott, Things Catholics Are Asked About (1927),p. 136.
"Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that worship should be changed from Saturday to Sunday .... Now the Church ... instituted, by God's authority, Sunday as the day of worship. This same Church, by the same divine authority, taught the doctrine of Purgatory long before the Bible was made. We have, therefore, the same authority for Purgatory as we have for Sunday."
Peter R. Kraemer, Catholic Church Extension Society (1975),Chicago, Illinois.
"Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:
"1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe the Sunday, stultifies them in the eyes of every thinking man.
"2) We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith. Besides the Bible we have the living Church, the authority of the Church, as a rule to guide us. We say, this Church, instituted by Christ to teach and guide man through life, has the right to change the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday. We frankly say, yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she made many other laws, for instance, the Friday abstinence, the unmarried priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic marriages and a thousand other laws.
"It is always somewhat laughable, to see the Protestant churches, in pulpit and legislation, demand the observance of Sunday, of which there is nothing in their Bible."
T. Enright, C.S.S.R., in a lecture at Hartford, Kansas, Feb. 18,1884.
"I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.' The Catholic Church says: 'No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.' And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church."

Protestant Confessions

Protestant theologians and preachers from a wide spectrum of denominations have been quite candid in admitting that there is no Biblical authority for observing Sunday as a sabbath.

Anglican/Episcopal

Isaac Williams, Plain Sermons on the Catechism , vol. 1, pp.334, 336.
"And where are we told in the Scriptures that we are to keep the first day at all? We are commanded to keep the seventh; but we are nowhere commanded to keep the first day .... The reason why we keep the first day of the week holy instead of the seventh is for the same reason that we observe many other things, not because the Bible, but because the church has enjoined it."
Canon Eyton, The Ten Commandments , pp. 52, 63, 65.
"There is no word, no hint, in the New Testament about abstaining from work on Sunday .... into the rest of Sunday no divine law enters.... The observance of Ash Wednesday or Lent stands exactly on the same footing as the observance of Sunday."
Bishop Seymour, Why We Keep Sunday .
We have made the change from the seventh day to the first day, from Saturday to Sunday, on the authority of the one holy Catholic Church."

Baptist

Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, a paper read before a New York ministers' conference, Nov. 13, 1893, reported in New York Examiner , Nov.16, 1893.
"There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week .... Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament absolutely not.
"To me it seems unaccountable that Jesus, during three years' intercourse with His disciples, often conversing with them upon the Sabbath question . . . never alluded to any transference of the day; also, that during forty days of His resurrection life, no such thing was intimated.
"Of course, I quite well know that Sunday did come into use in early Christian history . . . . But what a pity it comes branded with the mark of paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!"
William Owen Carver, The Lord's Day in Our Day , p. 49.
"There was never any formal or authoritative change from the Jewish seventh-day Sabbath to the Christian first-day observance."

Congregationalist

Dr. R. W. Dale, The Ten Commandments (New York: Eaton &Mains), p. 127-129.
" . . . it is quite clear that however rigidly or devotedly we may spend Sunday, we are not keeping the Sabbath - . . 'Me Sabbath was founded on a specific Divine command. We can plead no such command for the obligation to observe Sunday .... There is not a single sentence in the New Testament to suggest that we incur any penalty by violating the supposed sanctity of Sunday."
Timothy Dwight, Theology: Explained and Defended (1823), Ser. 107, vol. 3, p. 258.
" . . . the Christian Sabbath [Sunday] is not in the Scriptures, and was not by the primitive Church called the Sabbath."

Disciples of Christ

Alexander Campbell, The Christian Baptist, Feb. 2, 1824,vol. 1. no. 7, p. 164.
"'But,' say some, 'it was changed from the seventh to the first day.' Where? when? and by whom? No man can tell. No; it never was changed, nor could it be, unless creation was to be gone through again: for the reason assigned must be changed before the observance, or respect to the reason, can be changed! It is all old wives' fables to talk of the change of the Sabbath from the seventh to the first day. If it be changed, it was that august personage changed it who changes times and laws ex officio - I think his name is Doctor Antichrist.'
First Day Observance , pp. 17, 19.
"The first day of the week is commonly called the Sabbath. This is a mistake. The Sabbath of the Bible was the day just preceding the first day of the week. The first day of the week is never called the Sabbath anywhere in the entire Scriptures. It is also an error to talk about the change of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. There is not in any place in the Bible any intimation of such a change."

Lutheran

The Sunday Problem , a study book of the United Lutheran Church (1923), p. 36.
"We have seen how gradually the impression of the Jewish sabbath faded from the mind of the Christian Church, and how completely the newer thought underlying the observance of the first day took possession of the church. We have seen that the Christians of the first three centuries never confused one with the other, but for a time celebrated both."
Augsburg Confession of Faith art. 28; written by Melanchthon, approved by Martin Luther, 1530; as published in The Book of Concord of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Henry Jacobs, ed. (1 91 1), p. 63.
"They [Roman Catholics] refer to the Sabbath Day, a shaving been changed into the Lord's Day, contrary to the Decalogue, as it seems. Neither is there any example whereof they make more than concerning the changing of the Sabbath Day. Great, say they, is the power of the Church, since it has dispensed with one of the Ten Commandments!"
Dr. Augustus Neander, The History of the Christian Religion and Church Henry John Rose, tr. (1843), p. 186.
"The festival of Sunday, like all other festivals, was always only a human ordinance, and it was far from the intentions of the apostles to establish a Divine command in this respect, far from them, and from the early apostolic Church, to transfer the laws of the Sabbath to Sunday."
John Theodore Mueller, Sabbath or Sunday , pp. 15, 16.
"But they err in teaching that Sunday has taken the place of the Old Testament Sabbath and therefore must be kept as the seventh day had to be kept by the children of Israel .... These churches err in their teaching, for Scripture has in no way ordained the first day of the week in place of the Sabbath. There is simply no law in the New Testament to that effect."

Methodist

Harris Franklin Rall, Christian Advocate, July 2, 1942, p.26.
"Take the matter of Sunday. There are indications in the New Testament as to how the church came to keep the first day of the week as its day of worship, but there is no passage telling Christians to keep that day, or to transfer the Jewish Sabbath to that day."
John Wesley, The Works of the Rev. John Wesley, A.M., John Emory, ed. (New York: Eaton & Mains), Sermon 25,vol. 1, p. 221.
"But, the moral law contained in the ten commandments, and enforced by the prophets, he [Christ] did not take away. It was not the design of his coming to revoke any part of this. This is a law which never can be broken .... Every part of this law must remain in force upon all mankind, and in all ages; as not depending either on time or place, or any other circumstances liable to change, but on the nature of God and the nature of man, and their unchangeable relation to each other."

Dwight L. Moody

D. L. Moody, Weighed and Wanting (Fleming H. Revell Co.: New York), pp. 47, 48.
The Sabbath was binding in Eden, and it has been in force ever since. This fourth commandment begins with the word 'remember,' showing that the Sabbath already existed when God Wrote the law on the tables of stone at Sinai. How can men claim that this one commandment has been done away with when they will admit that the other nine are still binding?"

Presbyterian

T. C. Blake, D.D., Theology Condensed, pp.474, 475.
"The Sabbath is a part of the decalogue - the Ten Commandments. This alone forever settles the question as to the perpetuity of the institution . . . . Until, therefore, it can be shown that the whole moral law has been repealed, the Sabbath will stand . . . . The teaching of Christ confirms the perpetuity of the Sabbath."
Roman Catholic and Protestant Confessions about Sunday

Celebrating Hanukkah in the Rocket Zone of Israel

"This year, Jewish residents in the Israeli city of Sderot celebrated the holiday of Hanukkah by lighting a menorah built out of steel Qassam rockets. The rockets, which were stored away at the Sderot Police Station, are some of the thousands of Palestinian rockets that have exploded on the Israeli city in the past nine years. It was a symbolic act; one that reflected the strength of spirit that has come to define the city’s inhabitants.

For some Sderot residents, however, the celebration of Hannukah, which commemorates the re-dedication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and the Jewish people’s defeat of the Syrian Greeks over 2,000 years ago, brings back more recent memories of hardship. Read more

Bethlehem suffers under Arab occupation!

Re: Oh Bethlehem A Son!

Even though I quit keeping the Roman Catholic hollow day of Christmas years ago, as soon as I found out the plain truth about how God hates Christmas as a whitewashed pagan abomination, I've been to Bethlehem on "Christmas Day." It's a Nazi-Muslim, Arab-occupied place now - certainly not a Jewish village Miriam, Yosef or Yahshua would feel welcome in!

Baptists reject Christmas but fall for SUNday!

The following is brief correspondence I had with some Baptists who rightly reject "the mass of Christ" as baptized paganism but somehow fail to see SUNday is spiritual adultery pimped by the same Roman Catholic Cult that deceives the world with Christmas!

************

I wrote:

I was thrilled to see you dare to share the plain truth about how Christmas is spiritual adultery and amounts to sun worship, and then so disappointed when I see you fall for Rome's replacement theology of SUNday and use the lame excuse it was the day of Yahshua's resurrection (which even if it were true, doesn't follow God changing His mind (Malachi 3:6) or Christ - who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8) - about his holy commandments).

SUNday is spiritual adultery! God help you to come out of Babylon all the way.

************
Baptist heretics responded:

We are New Testament followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles.

We are not Old Testament followers of Moses.

The apostles changed the form of worship, just as Jesus had prophesied (John 4:20-24; Col 2:16-17; Heb 9:10).

************
My response:

If Jesus were your Lord, you would love and obey Him and follow His example. He kept the Sabbath, his disciples kept the Sabbath, and the whole world will keep the Sabbath when the King of the Jews returns and reigns. Furthermore, the Sabbath didn't begin or end with Moses.

Sad you commit spiritual adultery by bowing to ROME every SUNday, whether you chose to remain in drunken denial of this fact or not. True Christians know God has not changed His mind and Yahshua is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus prophesied about false followers speaking against the holy commandments of God (that they may keep their own idolatrous traditions), and Daniel warned about those who would "think to change times and laws."

Yitzhak Rabin's blood cries out against Shimon Peres!

Shimon Peres Came to Power Over Rabin's Dead Body
I met Yitzhak Rabin in the Israeli Parliament in 1982 during Hanukkah. I was able to talk with him briefly and mention I was associated with Ambassador College in Pasadena, California.

Avishai Raviv, Eyal, and Yitzhak Rabin
Avishai Raviv was an Israeli government agent provocateur (whose code name was "Champagne" for the bubbles of incitement he created to tarnish the right-wing Israelis) who goaded Yigal Amir to assassinate Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (although this is hotly disputed by investigative reporters like Barry Chamish)...

Shimon Peres Charged with the Murder of Yitzhak Rabin?
We, the undersigned, leaders of major Jewish groups and organizations, hereby sorrowfully acknowledge our lack of leadership in pursuit of justice for slain Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

Vatican Linked to the Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin?
The dark powers of the European Union, under evil influence of the very real German-Jesuit cabal, are intent on ripping out the heart of Israel and sacrificing Israeli sovereignty to their wannabe divine emperor about to take the world by storm, pimped by the sorcerer-pope.

Europe
Greek debt landing Germany in "a very difficult situation"
The FTDeutschland reports that Moody's has joined the other major ratings agencies in downgrading Greece, although not as severely as markets had expected. Speaking on the BBC Today programme, when asked what the damage to the euro would be if Greece's debt problem led it to leave the eurozone, Times writer Oliver Kamm said: "If you think that the collapse of Lehmann brothers was bad, this would provoke the Godzilla of all banking crises and bond market crises and that's why no government would go there, or let it happen."

Economics Editor Stephanie Flanders said: "It's quite interesting though because in theory there is this 'no bailout' clause for the eurozone which actually the Germans insisted on when the single currency was getting started because they didn't want countries like Greece and Italy always thinking they could come running to Brussels...but there has already been quite a lot of expectation that they would find a way round that clause and I'm sure that's right...Germany in particular is going to face a very difficult situation."

A poll commissioned by Open Europe of German voters in July found that 70% of Germans were against using public money to bail out other countries that had got into financial difficulties following the economic crisis.

A leader in German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung argues that "the EU should control Greece and cut back subsidies." It adds: "If every EU country has its own currency, it can only weaken itself when making debts. In the case of the euro however, Greek (and other) borrowing potentially weakens all members of the monetary union. The EU should send auditors to Athens to control the state budget sharply. And it should cut back on irregular EU subsidies which make the life of the nation convenient." The article concludes, "In a common currency, Greece's problems don't just matter to Greeks. It is high time that its eurozone neighbours don't watch by any more as the country damages the others."

An article in Die Welt, looking at the potential accession of Serbia to the EU, argues, "Under the protective umbrella of EU membership, economic mismanagement and political corruption go unhindered and unpunished...The richer countries that have managed their economies more responsibly will always bail their desperate little brother out of the mess."

Meanwhile, an article in the FT looks at recession-hit Latvia, noting that the price for an EU and IMF bail-out has "been painful tax increases and brutal spending cuts - including reductions of up to 40 per cent in public sector pay and a 10 per cent cut in pensions."

EU informed of global climate deal by text message;
Swedish Environment Minister blasts "great failure" of Copenhagen
Following a meeting of EU environment ministers, Swedish Environment Minister Andreas Carlgren called the agreement reached at the Copenhagen climate change summit last week "a disaster" and "a great failure". He added, "It was obvious that ministers broadly expressed their disappointment with the results of Copenhagen, which didn't at all meet the expectations or ambitions of the European Union".

The FT reports that the EU had believed its role as the first bloc to pass binding emissions reductions targets would give it a prime seat at the negotiating table, but it was not even invited to a final meeting at which leading developed countries struck the decisive deal with the US. BBC Europe Editor Gavin Hewitt's blog notes that Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, current holder of the EU Presidency, learnt about the deal via a text message on his mobile phone. Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said: "We've been taught some lessons about the realities of the so-called multi-polar world. These lessons will have to be taken into account when we go for a more comprehensive global agreement."

The article also reports that several nations blamed the unwieldy United Nations negotiating process for Copenhagen's failure. In a letter to the paper, ALDE group leader in the European Parliament Guy Verhofstadt argues that, "Perhaps the UN could take a leaf out of the European Union book and examine whether its consensus-based decision-making is sustainable for the sake of the planet and its own credibility. The EU has had to constantly adjust its procedures to make decision-making both possible and more efficient...Majority voting is now the norm. Consensus is, of course, always desirable, but sometimes, when push comes to shove, a decision can only be arrived at by a vote."

European Voice reports that the ministers have asked the European Commission to produce a report of 'what went wrong' at Copenhagen to help the EU reflect on its international climate strategy, to be discussed in Seville on 15-17 January.

Die Welt and Handelsblatt report that Belgium and France are pushing for the EU to introduce an additional "green" tax on products imported from places with less stringent environmental regulations, such as China.

Meanwhile, Les Echos reports that "businesses are alarmed" by calls among policymakers to increase the EU's emissions reduction target from 20 percent to 30 percent by 2020.

EU civil servants' union: Member states are using pay dispute to deflect from their inability to combat the recession
EUobserver notes that national ministers are set to rubber-stamp a 1.85 percent pay rise for EU civil servants, rejecting a request by the European Commission for a 3.7 percent rise. However, Renzo Carpenito, the Council of Ministers' top delegate to the FFPE trade union, has said that national governments are using the pay dispute in a cynical ploy to improve their image. He said, "Member states can't solve the financial crisis, which is the real problem. The pay dispute is a good dossier to improve their image." He added, "We regret that certain member states have created a media storm out of the issue."

The article notes that the European Commission is still deciding whether to challenge the decision at the European Court of Justice, dragging the dispute into the New Year.

Opinion poll shows Spanish people think their country has little influence in EU
El Mundo reports on an opinion poll conducted by the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, an independent Spanish research body, which examines attitudes within Spain regarding the European Union. The poll found that 70% of people think that Spain has little or no influence in the EU. 70% of people are in favour of the EU, and 71.6% are convinced that EU decisions affect the lives of Spanish citizens. 38.8% think that these effects are positive, and 36.5% think they are negative.

The poll also found that 38.1% of people think that Spain will do well or very well during its EU Presidency, beginning on 1 January, 30.7% think that it will do 'OK', and 14.1% think it will do badly. 57.7% think the Presidency is an important event for Spain, but 51.9% of people had not seen the Spanish EU Presidency reported in the press.

24.4% of people think that the Spanish government defends Spanish interests in Europe well, 37.7% think that the government defends Spanish interests 'OK' and 30.5% think that the government defends Spanish interests badly.

Corruption allegations surround minister appointed to oversee EU funds in Romania
EUobserver reports that the Romanian Minister, Elena Udrea, appointed to oversee the spending of EU funds, has previously "been in the spotlight for corruption allegations." The article notes that Ms Udrea is married to a Bucharest businessman who used to run a parking-garage monopoly in the city. She was appointed as President Traian Basescu's special advisor soon after he was elected in late 2004, but resigned from the post in November 2005 amid accusations of cronyism concerning her husband's business associates.

Ms Udrea was also the subject of a parliamentary inquiry in September, which recommended opening a criminal investigation into the way she had used public money to fund media campaigns. The article notes that Ms Udrea will be in charge of €3.7 billion of funds from the EU budget for 2007 to 2013, with the aim of improving housing, infrastructure and tourism.

Commissioner McCreevy obtained €1.6 million loan amid questionable lending practices
The front page of the Irish Independent reports that outgoing EU Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy is one of several Fianna Fail politicians who have been named by an RTE 'Prime Time Investigates' programme as having been given huge mortgages from Irish Nationwide with minimum paperwork involved. Commissioner McCreevy obtained a €1.6m Irish Nationwide loan to buy a luxury apartment in the K Club golf resort in Ireland in 2006. The €1.6m loan was granted even though the home was worth €100,000 less than that at the time. The Irish Times reports that the programme claimed that the loan was granted by Irish Nationwide's then Chief Executive Michael Fingleton, despite the building society's guidelines not allowing 100 percent mortgages.

The Irish Financial Regulator's office has confirmed it would be carrying out an investigation into lending practices at the building society.

EU extends import duties on Asian footwear despite protests from the UK
Yesterday, EU ministers voted in favour of extending import duties on shoes imported from China and Vietnam by 15 months, despite strong opposition from a minority of member states including the UK. The duties have been in place since 2006 and were due to expire on 1 January 2010, however after extensive negotiations the anti-dumping tariffs will remain at 16.5% for Chinese and 10% for Vietnamese imports. France, Greece, Italy and Spain supported the extension, opposing Britain, the Netherlands and Sweden.

The BBC quotes UK Business Secretary Lord Mandelson saying: "maintaining the duties damages trade, harms the reputation of Europe and forces consumers to pay higher prices at a time when they can least afford it." Mandelson added that the EU should "turn its back on protectionism".

A leader in the FT argues "Those who expect a transformation in European decisiveness now the Lisbon treaty is in force must think again. The choice of Herman Van Rompuy...and Baroness Cathy Ashton as high representative for foreign policy, suggests that leaders of the bigger member states do not want Brussels to be too forceful." Why give gifts at Christmas?

"Understand. Before Christmas was the Roman Saturnalia, upon which Christmas is founded. Tertullian; considered an early Catholic church father, wrote that during the Saturnalia, presents were exchanged and “every pomp of the devil is frequented” (On Idolatry, circa 200 – 206 A.D.)."

Civil War in Israel?

www.barrychamish.com

CIVIL WAR: WHAT EHUD BARAK HAS ON BIBI NETANYAHU
                                                                        by Barry Chamish

Defence Minister Ehud Barak, leader of the Labor Party, has declared war on well over half the Jews of Israel who voted for the Right. And Prime Minister Netanyahu, is letting him.
Why would Netanyahu allow Barak to start a civil war that has all the ingredients of demolishing not the settlements in the end, but Israel itself? What has Barak got over Netanyahu?
It's an ugly story, but now if ever, it has to be told. First, an overview:

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FSh

Leaked IDF memo details tactics to enforce settlement freeze

The Israel Defense Forces will use air reconnaissance and photography
to detect violations of the freeze on settlement construction in the
West Bank, as well as special forces raids on violators, according to
a leaked internal army memo obtained by Haaretz.

The document, issued by officers from the Central Command, details
the intelligence-gathering methods to be used to detect freeze
violations and plans to demolish illegally built structures.

Documented violations will be destroyed in lightning operations in
which the army will create a closed military zone so media will not
be allowed to enter. The document differentiates between what its
authors called "tactical surprise" and "strategic surprise."

First, there will be an effort at dialogue with settlers, the
document states. "On the tactical level, surprise needs to be
achieved...by blocking off the area with large forces so as to
paralyze...."

All intelligence sources will participate in tracking violations, the
document said. "All agencies will be used, including the intelligence
branch of the command, the Shin Bet and regular troops."

http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=43561

First and foremost, the community will be isolated by
security forces. Cellular telephone transmissions will be jammed, and
the community will be closed to any and all members of the press.
While soldiers will not be in the front-line force, soldiers will
always be standing by, and called in should commanders determine the
situation demands the reinforcements. Soldiers are also being
instructed on the use of live fire.

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/135091#replies

The secret document, which has clandestinely reached Arutz-7, shows that the army is planning to enforce the government-ordered construction freeze on Jewish towns in Yesha with the help of six brigades, the entire Border Guard forces of Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, Israel Air Forces helicopters and drones, the Shabak (Shin Bet) and police, intelligence forces, and IDF reserve units.

Settlers: Secret Plan Renders Barak ‘War Criminal'

"Even I was surprised," said Danni Dayan, who heads the Council of
Jewish Communities of Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, of the
exposed guidelines. "This is quite simply deployment for a military operation against an
enemy," Dayan told Army Radio on Sunday morning. "This is not how to
enforce a government's decision applying to citizens in a democratic
state..."
“With the full backing of Netanyahu, who so cynically called us ‘brothers,’ Barak is wasting billions of shekels of the People of Israel’s money in order to promote his own standing in the Israeli left – instead of investing the money in building and developing the Galilee, Samaria, Negev and Judea. We will fight without compromise against Barak’s criminal actions, and we will continue to build our land wherever Arab nationalism threatens to turn it into terrorist states.” The document states that the plan is on the “General Staff” level, and outlines the plan to destroy new Jewish buildings throughout Judea and Samaria. It appears that the plan is set to be put into operation within two weeks. “The security forces will display zero tolerance vis-à-vis violence against the forces engaged in enforcing the construction freeze, demolitions and evictions,” the document states.

Ehud Barak was a or the planner of two Godawful crimes, one against Netanyahu, the other against the world. Brace yourself. I've known about both for years and kept silent. To help prevent a Jewish civil war, I am silent no longer.
Benjamin Netanyahu's brother Yoni, was not killed in 1976 at Entebbe Airport by Ugandan soldiers. He was murdered by Israeli soldiers. And PM Netanyahu's other brother Iddo, wants the truth told.

If the pen is mightier than the sword, Yedioth Ahronoth proved it last June. On June 30, just before the 30-year anniversary of the IDF’s dramatic rescue of Jewish hostages in Entebbe, Uganda, the daily Hebrew newspaper published an article debunking 20 years of myths surrounding that proud moment in Israeli history.
In a recent interview with Ynetnews, one of Yoni’s younger brothers, radiologist and writer Iddo Netanyahu, discussed... the falsification of history.

The attack on Entebbe was not Yoni's battle. He was brought in at the last moment by the commander of the attack, head of the Sayeret Matkal Infantry Brigade, Ehud Barak. We will not focus on the political advantages Labor gained by eliminating Yoni, only that Bibi and his family know well that Barak and not Idi Amin was the commander of the raid and that killed Yoni Netanyahu. And without a word said, with endless fear of being the next brother dead, Bibi appointed Barak to be his Defense Minister.

http://jta.org/news/article/2009/11/12/1009136/9-11-monument-dedicated-in-jerusalem

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- A monument to the victims of 9/11 was dedicated in Jerusalem. The monument, commissioned and built by the Jewish National Fund-USA/Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, depicts the World Trade Center and Pentagon through sculpture and landscape.

Ehud Barak was the Prime Minister of Israel from 1999 to 2001, precisely when 9-11 was being formulated. Six weeks before 9-11, Larry Silverstein, a large contributor to Ariel Sharon's removal of Jews from Gaza, and proud Mossad agent Frank Lowy, took out insurance policies worth $7.5 billion. Silverstein's policy was on his 99 year lease of the World Trade Center, Lowy's on the retail floor space of the same complex. It was Silverstein who blew the cover on the operation, and I do mean conclusively.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/january2006/050106silversteinanswers.htm
Questions about the highly suspicious nature of the building's collapse remained comparatively muted until January 2004, when a PBS documentary, America Rebuilds, originally broadcast in September 2002, received attention across the Internet.
The documentary was made infamous for one comment made by Larry Silverstein on the subject of 9/11. Silverstein states, "I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

On September 12, 2001, The Jerusalem Post reported: “Frank Lowy, who emigrated to Australia from Israel in 1952, owns the 99-year lease for the 425,000 square foot retail portion of the destroyed World Trade Center…Westfield said today that it has insurance cover against terrorist attacks and its earnings will not be materially affected.”

At 5:20 PM, in the shadows of the smoldering twin towers, Silverstein ordered the demolition of the 47 storey Building 7 of the WTC. And it came down in a perfectly controlled demolition. Normally, it would take weeks to rig the building with demolition explosives. But Flight 93 was supposed to crash into the building and it was disabled over Pennsylvania. With fire marshals snooping around, Silverstein had no choice but to fell the building before they found the evidence of sabotage.
And this is they key to 9-11; HOW DID LARRY SILVERSTEIN KNOW BUILDING SEVEN WAS RIGGED WITH DEMOLITION EXPLOSIVES?
       We repeat: HOW?

And now Ehud Barak, PM of Israel in 1999. In the late 80s, the two chief accountants of the Likud Party, Ehud Olmert and Menachem Atzmon, were tried for graft and corruption but only Atzmon served prison time. When he was released in 1999, during the term of Ehud Barak as PM, he got a reward for his silence:

Menachem Atzmon, convicted in Israel in 1996 for campaign finance fraud, and his business partner Ezra Harel, took over management of security at the Boston and Newark airports when their company ICTS bought Huntleigh USA in 1999. UAL Flight 175 and AA 11, which allegedly struck the twin towers, both originated in Boston, while UAL 93, which purportedly crashed in Pennsylvania, departed from the Newark airport. This convicted Likud criminal's firm was in charge of security at Logan Airportinspecting the validity of passports and visas, searching cargo, screening passengerswhen two airliners were hijacked from there on Sept. 11, 2001, and demolished the World Trade Center towers in New York.

Without Atzmon in charge of Newark and Logan Airports, 9-11 could NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
We repeat; Without Atzmon's supervision of passports, cargo and screening at Logan and Newark Airports, no terrorist or anyone else could ever have boarded the planes.

Lest you believe I'm blaming Israel for 9-11, think again. The entire US air force stepped down, the government stepped up, and this required massive American cooperation. And this was in a Bush Administration. But the Obama Administration knows and if Ehud Barak doesn't play their game, Israel will pay the price. This Netanyahu knows, and he is cooperating. If he doesn't...(index finger under throat).
Let us recall how dirty Labor plays. In 1933, the Labor Party chief Chaim Weizmann cut a deal with the Nazis called the Transfer Agreement. In short, they agreed to ignore calls for the boycott of the Nazis in return for the safety of the German Jews who would found their version of a Jewish nation. The Revisionist Zionists objected and the negotiator of the agreement, Chaim Arlozoroff, was murdered in Tel Aviv. The Revisionists were falsely blamed, thrown out of Zionism and in 1936 Weizmann, addressing the World Zionist Conference told the delegates, "In the upcoming Holocaust, perhaps only two million Jews will survive. But they'll be strong and good for the land of Israel. The rest will be consigned to the ashpit of history."
    The Labor Zionists applauded.
